Children & Families Supervised Visitation Program

Supervised Visitation Is...

Monitored contact between a noncustodial parent or other person authorized by court order to have supervised contact with the child. Visitation is in the presence of an independent,
unbiased third party.

Supervised Visitation Happens When...

There are allegations that a parent has perpetrated some type of abuse or neglect on a child, or situations involved with divorce, or simply that a parent and child have not seen each
other for a period of time. The courts must determine how to continue and/or maintain contact between the parent and child without jeopardizing the child, emotionally or physically. The solution? ..... Family supervised contact in a program where the parents and children feel safe and protected.

Supervised Visitation Means...

That the children and noncustodial parents have the opportunity to maintain a relationship in a safe environment while the family strives for reunification.
